quite magic,
the odd 40mph gust from cuba blows in,
mild weather but a bit edgy,
we are toasty around the peat fires,
pretty place with every colour,

first night

Our intrepid removers, Brighton,Halifax,Harris...no problem

busy,busy,busy...

we haven't blogged for a while cos we've been sorting out the dial up (a bit 1980'sbut...when in Rome)

We're both reallt well and happy, so too are the dogs, just sorting out Wally with his sheep 'issues,' but he's an old man and it is fine.

so much rubbish to sort out has been our thing, collecting mussels, chatting to folk, taking it in and as Chantel sez 'livin' it,'

many thanx 4 ur messages, chats and lurve...cu soon.

it's such a massive space, project and all that malarchy that we've been working out the many possibilities...mmmmmm....things are happening and will have outcomes (what a word to use!) by summer, which lasts from april to october here!

We Finally Did It!

After many weeks of putting our friends through the joy and agony of hat buying we had a civil partnership at Leeds town hall.

The civil event was followed by a right good knees up and some un-civil goings on at the Wrens pub.

Many, many thanks to all those who attended and many thanks for all the good wishes that you gave us.

wedding plans

we will tie the knot at 4pm on Thursday 13th of September at Leeds town hall.

the do will be at 'The Wrens,' pub from 5pm onwards, all welcome for a drink and some cake.

We look forward to seeing you there!

a new home

John and Harvey have recently bought a property on the Isle of Harris on the outer Hebrides.
We will be moving up there to live at the end of October.

There are 3 blackhouses, with thatched roofs. A croft house and about 13 acres on a stunning sea loch.

We plan to do up the place and start renting out the croft, the blackhouse and yurts by early summer 2008.
